We are a cosy, wee, family run, fun bar cafe in the historic Port 'o Leith.
Serving our committed customers from near and afar since July 2007.

From the bar we provide crisp pints, real ales, fresh juices, delicate loose leaf teas, cracking coffee, wonderful worldwide wines, specialist spirits & Pot-Tails... cocktails in teapots!

From the kitchen we serve up wholesome brunchies, lunchies,
din-dins & munchies from 10am right through till 10pm every day
Including daily specials, fresh baked goodies & Sunday roasts too.

Some say we are a bar, cafe, gastro pub, restaurant or bistro... We'd like to think we are a wee bit of something for everyone.

Roseleaf is split into two main areas, the front lively bar area
which is great for casual dining and socialising & the back area,
more suited for family dining & quieter catch ups

Our bar is decorated with pre-loved furniture & random treasure
which continues to blossom with new curiosities we find along the way!

Our kitchen is committed to cooking everything from scratch utilising seasonal & sustainable produce where possible from the best local suppliers.

We also bake all our own goodies in house including bread which is available to take home too!

Our kitchen is fitted out with energy efficient equipment & we recycle as much of our waste we can.

Our menus are constantly changing so the ones on the website are a wee idea of what we do.

Bookings

Because of our wee size, we always recommend you give us a tinkle to reserve you a table

For larger bookings & T-Parties, have a wee read of the reservation info below & send us in your basic info & enquiry via email or by all means give us a tinkle

For those with little time to spare, we also take pre-orders for food to give you time to dine

Our child’s license is for the whole bar until 5pm then the backroom only until 10pm
We also have facilities for disabled & less abled guests too

We have a random selection of hats for you to wear to get you in the mood… or by all means bring your own

Art Expo

We lend our walls to all aspiring artists & photographers who’d like to use us as a gallery

We also have a lockable display cabinet to exhibit other handy work such as jewellery, cards, bags or any other handmade wares

We take no commission on what is sold & only ask for a donation to our nominated charity if successful
